Rapper and songwriter Rany Dopesongz has a clapback at Obed Kwame Brixton, saying the media personality should learn to individualize issues of self-entitlement among creative artists in the Eastern Region.
According to the rapper, it is very worrying when the media tend to generalize uncalled behaviour portrayed by some creative artists.
Rany Dopesongz expressed his discontent in the comments section of a post by Brixton Kwame Obed, who was advising creative artists in the region to let go of their egos and sense of self-entitlement if they wish to achieve success.
He said, “I was on a show with Camidoh and another Eastern Artist. I posted the flyer and tagged them both. Camidoh reacted and commented with an Emoji, but our brother never reacted. It doesn’t mean I should generalize the situation and assume all of my folks in the game carry the same vibe. Let’s just deal with people individually and cut off the generalization, honestly, it is not helping at all.”
Background
Media personality, Obed Kwame Brixton, took to his Facebook page to call out the Eastern region creative artists to stop being egoistic and react to public publications made about them by media persons.
The post has sparked an intense debate among creative artists and media persons in the region.
Responding to the issue, Rany Dopesongz believes it’s very unfair when issues such as this are generalized instead of being addressed on an individual basis.
